The Snow Shoe Classic is a challenging 6 kilometer snow shoe race held on National Forest Trails at 9500 ft. elevation. The race is held in January. The race starts at the Big Tesuque picnic and camping area on Hyde Park Road (mile post 13) and follows National Forest Trails on a loop course that returns to the start area.

Santa Fe’s off-season running event at the Santa Fe Municipal Recreation Sports Complex.  This race funds the Santa Fe Striders Scholarships.

Be a part of the Santa Fe Striders Running Festival in July at the Santa Fe Municipal Recreation Sports Complex. There will be 5k cross country course and races with distances that vary with age group for younger runners.

Santa Fe’s premier trail running event, the “Big T” is held in October, right at the peak of the aspen colors. The course begins at the Aspen Vista trailhead (10,000ft), winds up the forest service road to the towers on Tesuque Peak (12,000ft), then back down. Food, coffee, and refreshments provided. Come out and get your run on.
